I understand that Longhorn fans were upset but that does not make it okay to completely defy the BCS standings. <br><br>I agree, Texas did have a tough season, they were an incredibly talented team but they lost so much respect because of the banner from so many schools, I'm sure. <br><br>It is almost as if they put the asterisk on their banner because they were trying to justify why they put it up. It's nobody's fault but their own. And then to make things worse, Mack Brown comes out to media and says he knew nothing about that. He knew nothing about that? He's the head football coach. That's like not telling the preacher about a Tuesday night service. Not to mention they still gave out bonus'.
